
Xiaomi is rumored to have a partnership with Leica for mobile phone cameras for some time. Previously, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra was speculated to be the first smartphone to appear in a partnership between Xiaomi and Leica. And now we have some new details that seem to confirm this partnership. The next flagship with Xiaomi’s Leica camera
According to a recent report by XDA developerThe APK decomposition of the Chinese version (v0.7.5) of the MIUI Gallery Editor app reveals four new Leica brand filters.These include: Leica Monochrome, Leica Monochrome HC (High Contrast), Leica Natural, Leica Vivid.
The mention of these filter names confirms that Xiaomi is actually working with a German camera maker to launch the next flagship with a Leica branded camera. You can see the code that mentions these filters in the screenshot attached below.

Well, it’s worth mentioning These filters have not yet been published in the Gallery Editor app.. So I really don’t know when or if this will happen. For those who don’t know, the Leica-Huawei partnership ended last year, after which the company launched a camera-focused smartphone. This gives us the feeling that the company may be looking for a brand to collaborate with and that Xiaomi may be.
