
When will Mi Band 6 be released in India? This is one question that all Xiaomi fans have asked since the wearable was launched in China earlier this year. Well, I finally got the answer today. Xiaomi has announced that the “Smart Living 2022” event will be held in India on August 26th. Every year, it’s where the Chinese giant launches the latest Mi Band in India along with other smart IoT products.

Xiaomi Smart Living 2022 event dates announced
Xiaomi has officially announced the date of the Smarter Living 2022 event using Twitter. The video teaser below has no hints about future products. Even the event’s dedicated landing page on the Xiaomi website provides little or no information.

Expectations for Mi Band 6, new Mi Notebook, Wi-Fi router and more!
The company hasn’t officially teased future devices, but Xiaomi India CEO Raghu Reddy has seen what to expect at next week’s event.First and foremost, in an interview with India Today, Lady confirmed her long-awaitedness. Mi Band 6 will be available in India on August 26th..
Now for those who don’t know, Mi Band 6 Larger 1.56 inch AMOLED display, Heart rate and SpO2 monitoring, and 24-hour sleep monitoring. This wearable also supports 30 sport modes, up to 14 days of battery life, and other cool features. This includes the ability to use the Mi Band 6 as a flashlight, camera shutter button, and more. Xiaomi prices for Mi Band 6 229 RMB (~ Rs .2,500) In China, Indian pricing is expected to be quite similar.
Apart from Mi Band 6, Xiaomi will also launch a new Mi Notebook in India with a backlit keyboard and an improved display. It also includes a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port. Reddy has been teasing this laptop on Twitter for the past week. You can see the tweets attached below:

In an interview with Moneycontrol, Reddy also confirmed that Xiaomi will launch a new Wi-Fi router and security camera in India. The company currently sells the Mi Band 4C and two security cameras in India, so it would be interesting to see all the new models coming to India. We can expect other cool IoT products to be launched alongside these four products on August 26th.
