OnePlus 10 Pro broke in half in durability test

OnePlus released the OnePlus 10 Pro flagship smartphone in January this year and released the new Panda White Edition earlier this week. The new OnePlus flagship brings a lot of progress in cameras, processors, and other sectors, but the company doesn’t seem to have invested in making the device durable. Recent durability tests have revealed that the OnePlus 10 Pro broke in half and lacked structural integrity. Let’s check the details.

The OnePlus 10 Pro can bend!

Zack Nelson of the popular YouTube channel Jerry Rig Everything is conducting detailed durability tests to test the limits of smartphones and has recently tested the new OnePlus flagship in a video. And the result was devastating to the device.

After a series of scratch tests, Nelson tested the structural strength of the OnePlus 10 Pro in a well-known bending test that allowed him to completely break the device with his bare hands. When Zack put a little pressure on the device, the smartphone was halved. Reveal that it may not be as durable as you would expect.. After the device broke, Zack tore off the frosty glass back panel behind to reveal the battery and internal components. It is currently unknown why the device was so broken, but it is important to note the following: OnePlus 10 Pro Much more vulnerable to damage than other flagship smartphones In the market. This is something that customers planning to buy OnePlus 10 Pro need to remember before making a purchase.

Now, it’s worth mentioning that Nelson is the longest-running expert in durability testing of smartphones. Therefore, during his bending test, he applied the necessary force to specifically destroy the device.

Not many of the latest flagship devices have broken this way in testing, but it would be a bit difficult for a normal user to break such a OnePlus 10 Pro during everyday use. This is not the first time I’ve heard of this. In 2014, Apple faced a similar issue with the iPhone 6 series. When you spend a lot of money on high-end smartphones, it’s still a topic of concern.
