Samsung has decided to expand its lineup of “FE” smartphones, but not the Galaxy S22 FE (which would make more sense). The company launched the Galaxy S20FE2022 in South Korea. However, it comes with a fairly old chipset, plus some tweaks, and a low price. Details are here.

Galaxy S20 FE 2022: Specifications and Features

This 2022 version of the Galaxy S20 FE is similar to the original model with a rectangular rear camera hump and a centrally punched hole screen. In fact, on the phone 6.5 inch Super AMOLED display with refresh rate 120HzSame as the 2020 model.

Another similarity is Snapdragon 865 SoC, which is really old in 2022.. It also has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage to support possible storage expansion.

The camera part is the same. On the back are three cameras, including a 12MP primary shooter, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom. The one on the front is rated at 32MP.

This device gets fuel from the same 4,500mAh battery as the Galaxy S20 FE (both 4G and 5G models). Now, you must be wondering exactly what the difference is. There are three. First, the device does not come with the included AKG earphones. Second, there are only three color options: Cloud Lavender, Cloud Navy, and Cloud White.

Price and availability

The third (and big) difference is the price. The price of the new Galaxy S20FE 2022 is 699,600 won (about Rs 43,500), which is 200,000 won cheaper than the price of the original Galaxy S20FE. However, you need to be aware that some discounts have been applied to the 2020 S20 FE model since its launch.

According to the Korean blog, this device is available via KT and LG U +, but not via SK Telecom. Neighbor.. However, we do not know if we will reach other markets. In addition, nothing is said about the software update cycle for the device. In any case, if you have a lot of S21 FE, Galaxy A73 5G and other options, it doesn’t make sense to choose this model for now. In the comments below, let us know your thoughts on this new launch!
