
Chinese phone maker Xiaomi aims to expand its Redmi Note 10 lineup with its first 5G smartphone later this month after launching the Redmi Note 10S in India earlier this year. After a series of teasers last week, the company today confirmed the launch of the Redmi Note 10 T5G in the country on July 20th.

According to Xiaomi’s website and a recent tweet (attached below), the company will probably announce the Redmi Note 10 T5G on July 20th at a virtual event. The main specifications and functions of future Redmi Note devices are shown below.

Redmi Note 10T 5G: Specifications and features (expected)
The Redmi Note 10T 5G will be the rebranded Redmi Note 105G. Therefore, it is equipped with a 6.5-inch Full HD + display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The panel resolution is 2400 x 1080p and the peak brightness is 500 nits.
Internally, the device is powered by MediaTek’s 7nm SoC, the Dimensity 700 chipset, which supports 5G. Paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. There are three globally available configurations, including 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB. However, the storage variant that Xiaomi will release in India is currently unknown.
Looking at the optics, the Redmi Note 10 T5G is packed with a triple camera setup on the back. This includes a 48MP primary lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. An 8MP selfie snapper is also housed in the punched holes on the front.

Price and stock status
Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 10 5G in China with a starting price of RMB 1,099. This is equivalent to approximately 12,500 rupees. The company has not disclosed the Indian price of the Redmi Note 10 T5G variant. Still, the price of this device is less than Rs 15,000 and is expected to compete with India’s Poco M3 Pro 5G and Realme 85G.
