The company recently filed a trademark application on certification platforms in Europe and India. Realme’s MagSafe version?
Initially Spots The trademark application has been submitted to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) by the reputable Tarekomi Mukul Sharma. In addition, a report from MySmartPrice Realme also stated that it has filed a MagDart trademark application on the CGPDTM (Controller General of Patents, Designs, and Trade Marks) website in India.
Well, for those who don’t know, Apple has reintroduced the MagSafe charging system with the launch of the iPhone 12 series last year. This charging technology leverages a magnet on the back of the device to allow users to connect a variety of MagSafe-compatible accessories such as new Apple Battery Packs, wallets, and charging car mounts.
Therefore, Realme’s recent trademark application suggests that Chinese giants are working on similar charging systems for future devices. However, this application doesn’t reveal much about charging systems other than MagDart Monica. And since Realme’s current fast-charging technology is called dirt charging, it can be inferred that it will be a charging technology.
Well, it’s worth mentioning that there is no official confirmation about MagDart from Realme. In addition, the company’s current smartphones, such as the Realme GT 5G and Narzo devices, do not have hardware that supports charging technologies like MagSafe. Therefore, we speculate that it will take some time for Realme to bring MagSafe’s competitors to market.
