
As promised, Realme launched its flagship GT series in India today. The company launched two smartphones in Japan as part of the GT series. This includes the flagship Realme GT 5G with the Snapdragon 888 SoC and the Realme GT Master Edition with the Snapdragon 778G chipset. Both mobile phones are equipped with a 120Hz AMOLED display, 64MP camera and more.

Realme GT series released in India
Realme GT 5G
Starting with Realme GT 5G, it’s the same device the company launched earlier this year in China and the global market. The Realme GT design is inspired by sports cars and comes in two back panel finishes, including a model with a vegan leather-based back panel and a model with a glass back panel.
The device boasts a 6.43 inch Full HD + AMOLED panel that supports a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. It has an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR10 +. In addition, you can find in-display fingerprint sensors for biometrics.
The Realme GT features the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset with an Adreno 660 GPU inside. Combined with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. In addition, dynamic RAM expansion is supported, allowing devices to allocate up to 7GB of ROM to RAM for faster multitasking.
As for the battery, the device comes with a 4,500mAh battery that internally supports 65W fast charging. According to the company, the device can be fully charged in just 35 minutes.
In addition, Realme has also integrated a stainless steel VC cooling system to cool the device during high performance tasks. This allows you to drop to 15 degrees Celsius on your device during demanding tasks such as games and video editing.

Now with the introduction of the low-end Realme GT Master Edition, the device is packed with specifications similar to its siblings. However, there are some important differences between the design and the internal content.
The Realme GT Master Edition is inspired by a suitcase made of 3D molded vegan leather. It is 8.7 mm thick and weighs about 180 g. As for the display, Realme GT Master Edition features a 6.43 inch Full HD + AMOLED panel that supports a refresh rate of 120Hz. It also has an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and supports HDR10 +.
Internally, the Realme GT Master Edition is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset. Paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage that support dynamic RAM expansion. This allows the device to allocate up to 5GB of ROM to RAM to improve performance.
Looking at the camera, the device is packed with a triple camera setup on the back, just like its older brother. It has a 64MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 119 degree FOV, and a 2MP macro sensor.
The Realme GT Master Edition camera focuses on street photography and has dedicated modes such as special filters and AI features. There is also a 32MP punchhole selfie shooter on the front.
In terms of battery, the Realme GT Master Edition has a similar 4,300mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. You can run Realme UI 2.0, which is based on Android 11, right away.

Price and stock status
For pricing, the high-end Realme GT 5G is available in two configurations. The base 8GB + 128GB model will be retailed at Rs. The 37,999, high-end 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 41,999.
For Realme GT Master Edition, the device has three configurations. The price of the base 6GB + 128GB variant is Rs. 25,999. The price of the 8GB + 128GB model is Rs. The price of the 27,999, finest 8GB + 256GB variant is Rs. 29,999.
