Realme recently launched two new audio products under the DIZO subbrand, apart from the launch of new personal care products. And today, the Chinese giant has launched two feature phones under the DIZO subbrand, the Star 300 and Star 500, to cater to the low-income group in the country.
So, before going to price and availability, here is a brief summary of the key specifications and features of the new DIZO Star Feature Phone.

DIZO Starphone released in India
Now, it’s worth mentioning that these are the same feature phones I found in FCC filing a few weeks ago. Therefore, both of these devices come with 2G support, a T9 keypad, and a removable battery.
DIZO Star 500
Starting with the high-end DIZO Star 500, this device has a large 2.8-inch display. Apparently, the Star 500 comes with a metal build and has a 1,900mAh battery inside. With 32MB of internal storage for storing contacts, photos and music, the device supports 5 languages including English, Tamil, Gujarati, Hindi and Telugu.When it comes to optics, this device 0.3MP camera Behind.
There is also a micro USB port at the bottom for charging and data transfer, next to the 3.5mm audio jack. Other features of the DIZO Star 500 include Bluetooth support, recording, and alarms. There is a strip torch at the top and there are three color variations: black, silver and green.
DIZO Star 300
Installed in the low-end DIZO Star 300, the device boasts a 1.77-inch display smaller than its older siblings and a larger 2,550mAh battery. It also comes with 32MB of internal storage and support for over 8 languages, over the high-end Star 500. This includes additional languages such as Bengali, Punjabi and Kannada.
The device also has a 0.3MP VGA camera on the back and has two colorways, black and blue.
Price and stock status
Looking at the price, the price of both devices is less than Rs 2,000. The high-end DIZO Star 500 is priced at Rs 1,799 and the low-end Star 300 is priced at Rs 1,299. It will soon be available for purchase in flipkart and offline retail stores.
Now, in my opinion, the DIZO star feature phone series will be an attractive option for low-income customers in India. However, due to the fact that they are 2G capable devices, I don’t think these devices will support JioSIM cards. As a result, customers will not be able to take advantage of Jio’s various low-cost network plans.
