Oppo has expanded the Reno lineup with the launch of the Reno 6 series in India today. The Oppo Reno 65G and Reno 6 Pro 5G come with a 90Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity chipset, 65W fast charging and more. So here’s everything you need to know about the Oppo Renno 6 series.

Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G

Starting with the high-end Reno 6 Pro 5G, this device has a variety of high-end specifications and features. It boasts a 6.55-inch full HD + AMOLED panel that supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The panel resolution is 2400 x 1080p, the ratio of the screen to the main body is 92.1%, and it is a 32MP punched hole selfie camera.

Speaking of optics, the device packs a quad camera setup on the back. This includes 64MP primary lenses, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lenses, 2MP macro cameras, and 2MP portrait cameras. The device boasts a “Bokeh Flare Portrait Video” mode that allows the user to record high resolution video with a beautiful bokeh effect in the background.

Internally, the Reno 6 Pro 5G is powered by MediaTek’s 5G-enabled chipset, the Dimensity 1200 SoC, based on the 6nm architecture. It comes with an integrated ARM Mali-G77 MP9 SPU and is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In terms of battery, the smartphone has a large capacity battery of 4,500mAh that supports a fast charge of 65W.

Other features of Reno 6 Pro include 5G connectivity, dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.2, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer. There are two color variations, Aurora and Stella Black. This device will still run the ColorOS 11 skin based on Android 11.

Internally, the device boasts a Mediatek Dimensity 900 chipset. India’s first Dimensity 900-equipped device.. The CPU is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone also has a 4,300mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging technology.

In addition to these, the Reno 6 comes with dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB-C port, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Like the Pro variant, Reno 6 is ready to run the new ColorOS 11 skins based on Android 11 and comes with the same Aurora and Stellar Black color options.

Price and stock status

When it comes to the price of the Oppo Reno 6 series in India, the Reno 6 Pro 5G with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs 39,990 rupees. With 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, the low-end Reno 6 costs Rs 29,990.

Both devices will be available for purchase at Oppo’s official online store, Flipkart, and the offline market. Reno 6 Pro 5G will be available for purchase from July 20th, and Reno 6 will be available for purchase from July 29th.
