Since its inception in 2014, OnePlus has steadily moved from its flagship killer smartphone brand to one of its major competitors to premium phone makers such as Apple and Samsung. The Chinese giant began manufacturing smartphones, but soon entered other sectors such as smart TVs, smartwatches and audio accessories. Currently, OnePlus aims to enter the tablet market with the launch of its first tablet device, the OnePlus Pad.
OnePlus Pad Monica was recently found on the trademark list on the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) website. The list doesn’t reveal much about OnePlus’ upcoming tablets, but it does confirm the fact that the company may be working on the device.
In addition, a list of the first ever OnePlus tablets has recently been submitted. So this could mean that OnePlus has started working on the device. As a result, other information about the OnePlus Pad’s display, interior, and features remains obscured.
However, you can expect your device to have high-end specifications and features to compete with current Samsung and Lenovo products. In addition, we already know that Xiaomi is working on three high-end Android tablets. These will be on the market soon. Therefore, the OnePlus Pad may also compete with future Xiaomi tablets.
No information is available regarding pricing and availability. Nothing is written on the launch timeline. Nevertheless, we can expect more information about the OnePlus pad to be published online in the future. We keep you in a loop. So stay tuned.
