To put an end to rumors and speculation, OnePlus today launched the OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite as India’s first smartphone, as previously announced. The device was launched with the OnePlus 10R 5G and Nord Buds at a recent OnePlus event. It is offered as an affordable midranger device with a 120Hz display, Snapdragon processor and more. OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite: Specifications and Features
The chassis design for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is similar to last year’s Nord CE 5G. However, instead of the latter rounded strip rear camera module, the new Nord device features a rectangular triple camera camera module with a large camera housing on the back. The phone has two color options, Blue Tide and Black Dusk.

Speaking of displays, the Nord CE2 Lite has a 6.59 inch full HD + IPS LCD screen. 120Hz refresh rate support (optimized for AI to do for each display content), Aspect ratio 20: 9, Pixel density 400ppi. Internally, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite features the 6nm Snapdragon 6955G chipset that comes with the integrated Adreno 619 GPU. The processor here is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage and can be expanded up to 1TB.
When it comes to the battery department, there is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging in the device. Another interesting part is that the device uses nine sensors and a dedicated chip to support real-time temperature monitoring, keeping the battery safe and cold. Charging via the onboard USB-C port, the Nord CE2 Lite also has a 3.5mm audio jack.
In addition to these, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth version 5.1, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, etc. are supported. This device will still run Android 12 based OxygenOS 12.1. OnePlus promises two years of software updates and three years of security updates.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is OnePlus’ first sub-Rs 20,000 phone in years. There are two variations, let’s take a look at the price.
