Dimensity 8100 outperforms Snapdragon 8 Gen1 in geekbench test

Earlier this month, MediaTek announced the Dimensity 8000 series chipsets for high-end midrange 5G smartphones, including the Dimensity 8100 SoC. The chipset’s paper specs mean that it should technically offer inferior performance to the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, but benchmark tests didn’t. In recent Geekbench benchmark tests, the Dimensity 8100 chipset was able to beat the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 with multi-core performance.
