
Reliance Jio has announced the introduction of a multi-terabit India-Asia-Express (IAX) submarine cable system in the Maldives. This system connects the island nations to internet hubs in India and Singapore.

The fast, high-capacity IAX submarine cable system connects Hulhumale Island, south of the Maldives’ North Male Atoll, to a major internet hub. This will provide safe, high quality and affordable internet services in the country.
