As expected, iQOO has introduced a new high-end game-centric smartphone, iQOO Neo6, in China. The phone has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, a variety of game-specific features, and looks. That’s all you need to know.
iQOO Neo 6: Specifications and features
The iQOONeo6 has an iQOO9 Pro-like design, but with a small rectangular camera island. The pink and blue options have a “lychee leather” finish, while the Black Road variation uses AG glass on the back.
The front is equipped with a 6.62 inch OLED Samsung E4 HDR10 + display, with a punched hole in the center and a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The The display supports a refresh rate of 120HzThere is also a 6 million: 1 contrast ratio, 1300 knit peak brightness, and a fingerprint scanner. The display includes a dedicated chip to reduce the GPU rendering load, a frame rate boost mode, and a high frame low power mode. It also supports MEMC.
As previously revealed, the iQOO 6 Neo is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform, which combines up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The camera department is also a highlight. It has a 64MP main camera that supports OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP portrait lens. The front snapper is 16MP. The phone supports features such as AI multi-frame noise reduction, Night Raw HDR algorithm, AI anti-glare algorithm, portrait mode, night mode, dual view video, up to 10x digital zoom, 4K video and more.
iQOONeo6 Fuel from a 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.. It can reach 30% charge in just 5 minutes. The device runs an Android 12-based Origin OS, offering Vivo card services, privacy-focused features, and other features for users.
It supports a 6-layer 3D graphite cooling system, Multi-Turbo 6.0, Memory Fusion 2.0 (up to 4GB of additional RAM), dual line linear motors, dual control pressure sensing design and more. Connection options include 5G, Wi-Fi Bluetooth version 5.2, OTG, USB Type-C port, NFC and more.
Price and availability
The iQOO Neo 6 starts at RMB 2,799 in China and will be available for purchase in China from April 20th. The prices for all configurations are:
- 8GB + 128GB: RMB 2,799 (approx. 33,400 rupees)
- 8GB + 256GB: RMB 2,999 (approx. 35,800 rupees)
- 12GB + 256GB: RMB 3,299 (approx. 39,400 rupees)
Accessories that come with iQOO Neo 6 such as the 44W Flash Charge Power Bank and iQOO Extreme Wind Cooling Back Clip Pro (with temperature display and halo lighting effect) are available for RMB 299. Each is RMB 1,99 (about 2,380 rupees). Both are currently available for RMB 259 and RMB 169.
