Called Intel Arc, this product is the company’s first game-centric GPU line to debut next year. There isn’t much information about graphics cards at the moment, but Intel has shed some information on the GPU line in its official video.

Now let’s take a look at some of the key features that Intel Arc GPUs offer.

Intel Arc – High Performance Gaming GPU

As a result, Intel Arc GPUs are dedicated graphics processors for high-end gaming PCs and thin, lightweight gaming laptops. The first GPU under the Intel Arc brand, codenamed “Alchemist”, will arrive in the first quarter of 2022. Besides this, Intel has also revealed the codenames for later generations of Arc GPUs, which are Batllemage, Celestial, and Druid.

Now with the introduction of Alchemist GPUs, graphics processors support advanced features such as: Hardware-based ray tracing, variable rate shading, mesh shading, and Direct X 12 Ultimate.. In addition, according to Intel, these GPUs also have the following features: “Artificial intelligence-based supersampling” Technology that upscales low-resolution graphics to high-resolution without further pressure on the GPU.

The Alchemist GPU is based on the company’s XeHPG microarchitecture, which combines Intel’s HP and HPC microarchitectures. According to the company, the Xe HPG microarchitecture is to provide scalability while providing computing efficiency with high-end graphics capabilities.

For games that can take advantage of Intel Arc GPUs, the company briefly looked at some of the games running on prototype Alchemist GPUs.
