Instagram may do it again! Social media platforms are expected to introduce features that will be reused from Snapchat, which is the ability to reply to stories with voice messages. Details are here.

Instagram copies another Snapchat feature

Alessandro Palazzi, a popular reverse engineer, has Instagram Test the ability of users to reply to stories with voice messages.. The screenshots shared by Paluzzi (via Tweet) show the option to reply to the story using the microphone option and GIF in the text bar. This is similar to what Snapchatters can already do with photo sharing apps.

This could be added to the recently introduced Like option that allows users to appreciate stories that don’t appear in DM. However, the sharing screenshot doesn’t show that option, so Instagram may remove this feature soon.

However, you need to be aware that these details are not specific. It has not yet been confirmed if Instagram will introduce voice replies to the story. Ideas can also be thrown away. And when it comes to the Like option, it’s just a guess, and there’s no confirmation of this either. Therefore, it is best to wait for the details to arrive.

With the addition of this feature, Instagrammer will be able to interact differently with other people’s stories, which can be appealing to many. In other words, it’s always easier to compliment someone with a voice memo than to type the entire message. Please let us know what you think of this feature in the comments below.

And if they didn’t get the chance to catch up, Meta-owned social media platforms recently revived chronological feeds with the introduction of new “following” and “favorite” feed tabs. Read our guide to learn how to use Instagram’s time series feeds. These were introduced in addition to the default algorithm-based Instagram feed.
