At WWDC 2021, Apple introduced many great features and major updates to FaceTime. But above all, SharePlay excited me the most! With this new feature, FaceTime has faced face-to-face with video conferencing and watch party apps, making it hugely popular due to the WFH situation.

I spent a little time exploring FaceTime SharePlay. In this detailed guide, you’ll learn all about SharePlay and how to use it with FaceTime on iOS 15.

What is Apple SharePlay for iOS15?

SharePlay allows you to share your iPhone, iPad, or Mac screen during a FaceTime call to watch movies and shows, or sync with your friends to listen to the same songs.

Everyone has control over what is playing, so the person on the call can play, pause, or skip at their convenience.
