Until now, Xbox and Apple devices haven’t been the best friends. But now the equation is changing slowly. You can now stream and play Xbox games on your iPhone and iPad. This includes both Xbox Cloud Gaming and Xbox Remote Play.

The former is a cloud-based game service that can be accessed from an iPhone / iPad browser, while the latter allows you to play console games directly on your mobile device via the Internet.

Let me show you how it is done without any further effort.

How to set up remote play on iPhone to stream Xbox games

Remote Play does not employ a Microsoft server like Xbox Cloud Gaming. Instead, it renders the game that resides on your Xbox to another device. So, of course, you need to own an Xbox console.

There is another advantage! With the all-new Xbox app, you can use your iPhone to manage your console. Therefore, you can remove the game and download it to the console so that you’re all ready when you get home.

In addition, this is a great upgrade for gamers and game streamers. You can take a screenshot and share it on social media.
