How to delete an Apple Watch workout

Have you accidentally recorded your Apple Watch workout while playing with some features? Or was someone exploring your watch and recording training you didn’t do? And now is it ruining your perfect score? Don’t worry. Here are two easy ways to delete your Apple Watch workout.

Apple Watch boasts automatic workout detection, but for some reason you can’t remove workouts from your watch. You must use a paired iPhone to delete your workout. There are two ways to do this.

  1. Remove a workout from the fitness app
  2. Delete a workout using the Health app

How to remove a workout from the fitness app on iPhone

  1. Open Fitness App → trainingShow more.
  2. Now hold down the workout you want to delete and swipe left.
  3. Tap erase..
  4. Select one of the following options:
    • Delete workouts and data – Delete workouts and related data (activity ring progress, heart rate during workouts, etc.)
    • Delete only workouts – Delete only workouts

Note: The list includes all workouts, whether recorded by a watch, iPhone, or a third-party app. You can easily distinguish between them by looking at the icons next to them. For example, the blue clock icon means a workout recorded with the built-in workout app.
