Galaxy S Ultra = New Galaxy Note
At the Samsung booth on the MWC 2022 showfloor, Roh Tae-moon, head of Samsung Electronics’ mobile experience, told reporters (Via Korean publication Dalian)the “Galaxy Note series is [Galaxy S-series] Ultra ” Move forward. Oh yeah, the iconic Galaxy Note Monica has been phased out. But the key features and highlights of the series, including its chunky build and S-pen slot, are still alive.
For those who don’t know, the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra were the last Note phones and were launched in 2020. And this year, Samsung has taken a big step with the release of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, a fusion of the Galaxy Note and S-series.

All thanks to its chunky build and built-in S-pen slot. The Korean giant is leading the foldable segment with the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip models, and Samsung hopes to pay more attention to these lineups in the near future. With the official abolition of the notebook series released in September every year, it is expected that new foldable mobile phones will appear in the second half of the year.
