Microsoft recently unveiled a major update to Windows 11 that provides users with File Explorer tabs, new security features, and more. Following this, Microsoft introduced delayed Windows 11 Insider Preview build version 22593. This update is intended for both development and beta channel users and includes File Explorer changes (not tabs) and some fixes. The details are as follows.

Windows 11 Insider Build 22593: What’s New

in the first place, The File Explorer home page is now called Home.. This was formerly known as quick access. Quick Access is now the name at the top of File Explorer, which stores fixed / frequent folders.

There is also a new Favorites section for storing fixed files and a recent category for accessing recently edited files in Explorer. These also include OneDrive files. You can search for recently used or favorite files even if they are not local files.
