EINOVA Marble and Mundus Pro Review: Faster than MagSafe

Rate this post

Wireless chargers have been around for some time now. However, many of them are not as gorgeous as the EINOVA Marble and serve multiple purposes like the EINOVA Mundus Pro. The former name is pretty straightforward, but the latter can be confusing about features other than wireless charging.

Read together to learn more about these products and whether they are what you are looking for!

EINOVA Charging Stone (Marble): Beauty and the Beast

The EINOVA Charging Stone is a wireless charger that houses a marble top and comes in seven finishes: White Marble, Black Marble, Lava, Travertine, Sandstone, Wood Marble and Cream Marble. You can choose from a variety of finishes.

I got the EINOVA Marble, but everyone at iGeeks’ workplace wants to take it home (I’m definitely not an exaggeration!). Well, it talks about the volume about how good the product looks. If you can’t justify that beauty in my words, please forgive me. Let’s decrypt the product little by little!

Cool unpacking experience

When I bought a new product, I expected it to be used for a long time, so unpacking it gives me a great deal of satisfaction. The same is true here. As soon as I opened the EINOVA Charging Stone box, another colorful box greeted me. By the way, Arshmeet (our senior writer) loves (except her husband!).

When you open the box, you’ll find a marble-finished charging stone with a USB-A charging cable (which looks great in silver). Please note that this cable cannot be removed.

In addition, a black 18W power brick is also available. However, the black power adapter doesn’t really fit the overall beauty of the charging stone. It’s not an ideal choice, but it’s okay because the power adapter is almost always hidden.

Build quality

Build the quality of EINOVA Charging Stone

Charging stones are literally made like stones. After all, it’s a piece of marble. If you put the charger on your desk and wire the cables well, it will look good.

The velvet finish prevents the charging stone base from slipping around the table, making it look and feel great. The attached cable is braided and has excellent durability.

utility

EINOVA Charging Stone has one purpose, wireless charging, which works well. Qi certified, you can charge your device wirelessly up to 10W. This means you can charge your iPhone, AirPods, and other devices that support wireless charging.

However, there are no signs / marks on the surface of the charging stone to indicate the placement of the device. Therefore, you need to adjust the device (which may require several attempts) and wait for the device to start charging.

Also, this charger isn’t compatible with MagSafe, so you won’t get the additional benefits of MagSafe. However, it’s faster than MagSafe (see below for details).

How fast is EINOVA Charging Stone than MagSafe?

The EINOVA Charging Stone product page states that it can charge the device faster than MagSafe, which was difficult for me to digest. This is because MagSafe supports a wireless charging speed of 15W and ChargingStone only supports a wireless charging speed of 10W.

I couldn’t believe this and contacted EINOVA for an explanation. They answered:

“… This statement is true. The stone acts as a natural heatsink, giving it a modest increase in charging performance compared to other chargers. EINOVA has tested the iPhone 12 against charging stones and MagSafe chargers. MagSafe achieved 100% in 2 hours and 44 minutes. Charging stones achieved 100% in 2 hours and 36 minutes. “

Again, I couldn’t believe it, so I tested this myself. The battery of iPhone 13 has been exhausted to 0%. For consistency, I set the AC temperature to 26 degrees Celsius and set the iPhone 13 to charge for two days using both the EINOVA charging stone and the MagSafe wireless charger.

The EINOVA charging stone charged the iPhone 13 from 0 to 100% within 2 hours and 49 minutes, while the MagSafe wireless charger takes about 2 hours and 58 minutes.

Therefore, after testing, you can see that the EINOVA Charging Stone actually charges faster than the MagSafe charger.

EINOVA Charging Stone has multiple stone finishes, and the design is complete. However, the only drawback is that it is not compatible with MagSafe and charges your iPhone faster than the MagSafe charger.

Other than that, Charging Stone checks every box on one of the most delicate and well-designed wireless chargers available.

For those who don’t know, iPhone 8 and later support wireless charging. If you want to use another device, check here to see if your device supports wireless charging.

EINOVA Mundus Pro: Repel bacteria

EINOVA MundusPro Sanitize Box

EINOVA Mundus Pro is the only device that can charge 3 devices at the same time while disinfecting and disinfecting the device via UV-C. All you need to do is put your device in an AirPods, key, sunglasses, or charging box with anything you feel needs to be disinfected for 8 minutes.

The devices also have all the certifications needed for their claims, so you can be assured that EINOVA hasn’t fooled you. It also functions as an accessory holder. Certainly, it’s a multipurpose device.

What’s inside the box?

Again, EINOVA products have a premium unpacking experience. As soon as I opened the box, another colorful box greeted me. Yes, it’s the same kind that Arshmeet loves.

Under the lid is the Mundus Pro, documents, power adapter (large), and removable power cable. For reference, the size of the power adapter is about the same as the MacBook charger. With a pair of cables, setting up this device and wiring the cables can be tedious.

How sturdy is Mundus Pro?

Mundus Pro is made of polycarbonate. In my experience, lifting the lid is not a one-handed task. This is because there is no need to engrave the lid. Also, if you raise the lid, the back will become a little heavier, and the hinges may squeak.

Ruggedness of Mundus Pro

The Mundus Pro has a circular touch-sensitive button on the front that emits white light. There is a power input port and a USB-A power output port on the back. The UV-C light is also clearly visible inside. There are also two platforms that can hold two phones or other accessories inside.

Sanitize iPhone etc.

The Mundus Pro is a versatile device, but let’s consider some aspects of its sanitization. EINOVA claims that Mundus Pro can kill 99.999% of bacteria. This is all thanks to the four layers of microbial killing protection. The four layers are a unique two-wavelength UV-C wavelength mixture supercharged with the photocatalytic power of ozone and titanium dioxide, which oxidize microorganisms. And this technology is exclusively for EINOVA.

First, Mundus Pro disinfects phones and accessories through UV-C lights and the process described above. Therefore, there is no visible difference and there is no way to manually confirm the claim.

However, if you want to know how it works, their article provides more insight into this.

Wireless charging

EINOVA Mundus Pro works as wireless charging

Mundus Pro disinfects devices and accessories and also acts as an accessory holder, but its roots are in wireless chargers. Two devices can be charged at the same time, with two EINOVA brand logos on the top, indicating the placement of the wireless charger.

This device is Qi certified and can charge both devices at 10W each. Therefore, you can charge your iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch wirelessly through the wired charging port on the back of Mundus Pro.

This USB-A port supports charging speeds up to 18W. If you want to use wired charging, you can use this port to charge your iPhone faster. However, the device is not compatible with MagSafe.

The price of Mundus Pro is a bit high, but the utilities it offers are unmatched. You can charge two devices wirelessly at the same time and use wired charging with one device. The internal compartment can be used not only for disinfecting the product, but also as an accessory holder.

  • Sanitize the device
  • Functions as an accessory holder

Disadvantages

  • Can improve the built quality

EINOVA Mundus Pro

Charging Stone or Mundus Pro: Which will be your true companion?

EINOVA Charging Stone is an excellent wireless charger. Everything from built quality to product design meets the standards. The only downside is that it’s not compatible with MagSafe.

Mundus Pro, on the other hand, takes a very different approach than other products. It works not only as a wireless charger, but also as a sanitization and storage tool. However, it is expensive and does not support MagSafe.

If you’re on a tight budget, we recommend using Mundus Pro for its features. But if you’re all for aesthetics, there’s nothing better than Charging Stone.
