
Xiaomi has launched the new Redmi 10 in India (Redmi 10C in other markets) and has begun to refocus on last year’s Redmi 10 series. And now it has introduced the new Redmi 10 series smartphones in the form of Redmi 10A in China today. It falls into the affordable category and is the successor to the Redmi 9A. The details are as follows.
Redmi 10A: Specifications and features
The Redmi10A is very similar to Redmi10 and has a large square camera humpThere is also space for fingerprint scanners like the Realme Narzo 50A. However, there is one rear camera instead of the two cameras seen by the brothers. The display has a water drop notch and color options for moonlight silver, shadow black, and smoke blue.

The phone has a 6.53 inch HD + LCD display with an aspect ratio of 20: 9, a brightness of 400 nits, and a contrast ratio of 1500: 1. The screen also supports solar screen mode. Internally, the Redmi 10A features an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 SoC, supporting up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The camera department 13MP AI rear camera and 5MP selfie shooter with LED flash support.. There are various camera modes such as scene recognition, portrait mode, time-lapse video, 1080p video, beauty mode, HDR (both front and rear cameras).
The Redmi 10A has a 5,000mAh battery with a fast charge of just 10W. Sadly, it runs MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. Connection options include dual SIM card support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a micro USB port (sorry for 2022), GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. If you still don’t know, this is not a 5G phone.
Price and availability
The Redmi 10A has three RAM + storage options and are priced as follows:
- 4GB + 64GB: 649 yuan (about 7,700 rupees)
- 4GB + 128GB: 799 RMB (about 9,500 rupees)
- 6GB + 128GB: 899 RMB (about 10,700 rupees)
This smartphone will be available for purchase from March 31st. However, nothing has been announced about its launch in India.
