BGMI 1.5 Update: Everything You Need to Know
Krafton recently shared a video showing all the new changes to BGMI in Season 20 later this month. The July update includes a number of new guns, new mission ignition modes, and many other system and quality of life changes.
New weapon: MG3
The MG3 is a light machine gun (LMG) that replaces the M249 airdrop supply box. The M249, on the other hand, can be used as a common drop weapon on all maps. MG3 Shoot 7.62 bullets Up to 75 bullets can be stored in one magazine. One of its key features is its continuous firepower capability. However, keep in mind that reloading will take some time.
In terms of attachments, the MG3 can be equipped with up to 6x scope. However, it cannot be equipped with other attachments. Players can also switch between 660RPM mode and 990RPM (round / minute) mode. It also comes with a bipod that improves stability when shooting when the player is lying down.
Throw healing consumables
Another important change in the update includes the ability to throw consumables for recovery. This allows players to throw healing consumables such as health packs, bandages, and other items to nearby teammates.
To throw a healing consumable, select the healing item and tap the “Throw” button to see the throwing trajectory. Players can then use the trajectory to easily share items with their teammates. However, keep in mind that if you throw a healing consumable in a vertical plane, it will bounce off and land on the ground.
New rank tier and challenge point system
With this update, developers are changing the BGMI ranking system. They basically added two new tiers between the ranks of Ace and Conqueror: Ace Master and Ace Dominator. The developers have also updated the tier icons and level-up animations.
In addition, there is a new Challenge Points system that allows players to accumulate additional points to take responsibility during the game without attacking AFKs (away from the keyboard) or teammates. Reaching certain points in the Challenge Points bar allows players to reduce the loss of ranking points after losing a match.
BGMI’s new `mission ignition mode
After the update, the new mission ignition mode will be active on the Elangel map for a period of time. This new game mode includes Erangel’s six new high-tech areas: Transit Center, Tech Center, Georgepol, Logistics Agency, Sosnovka Security Center, and BGMI’s Energy Center.
Besides these, the new mission ignition mode has many high-tech elements. Next-generation and existing city names will be displayed in 3D at launch. In addition, players can automatically drop to a fixed location without having to manually move through the air.
In addition, this update adds a new hyperline, an advanced levitation line for cross-island travel across the map. This high-tech Erangel map also includes a Tesla semi-truck that carries the same high-level boxes as PUBG Mobile. Players can destroy these vehicles and plunder high-end items such as level 3 armor and helmets.
As for vehicles, there is a new G-38 gravity-free motorcycle that floats on the ground and can run on land and on the water. It can accommodate two players at a time. In addition, a new air conveyor has been placed around the map to catapult players from the ground and easily move them to remote locations on the map. These are very similar to the vertical ziplines in Apex Legends. It can also accommodate up to two players at a time.
This new game mode also includes a new assault rifle, ASMAbakan. With 5.56mm ammunition, you can load up to 30 bullets into the magazine. The weapon supports automatic firing mode, burst mode, and semi-automatic mode. In addition, you can equip various gun attachments such as scopes, extended magazines, muzzles and more.
There are also special robot patrol dogs that help players find high-level plunder. These can be found on the minimap and can lead players to pretty good items such as med kits, level 3 armor and more.
In addition, there are new tactical marking devices that players can do. Automatically check the firing direction of your teammates, Enemy location, street information on the minimap. This new mode of BGMI also adds a deployable riot shield, an intrusive shield.
Changes in settings and quality of life
In addition to the new gun and mission ignition mode, Krafton has also made some changes to the settings department. For example, players will be able to set the sensitivity level for each gun individually. You can also copy and change the sensitivity of the gun and save your favorite settings in the cloud.
The developers have also added new non-smooth graphics options to accommodate low spec devices. For new devices, the 90FPS option has been added to the BGMI graphics settings.
There is something new when it comes to changes in quality of life Dedicated toggle to turn off automatic pickup Options for scopes that have already been dropped. In addition, flare guns without ammo will not be automatically picked up. Also, another nifty change allows the player to automatically switch to the secondary weapon as soon as the ammo of the primary weapon runs out.
