I’ve recently heard rumors that Apple has been exploring the foldable iPhone several times. Recent rumors indicate a launch in 2023 and, therefore, Apple’s entry into the field of foldable phones. But, as the latest information suggests, it seems that it can be delayed by a few years.
It is reported that the release of the foldable iPhone was delayed.
Display Supply Chain Consultant, also known as DSCC’s renowned analyst Ross Young, said (via a new report). Folding iPhone launch postponed to 2025Two years behind the previously expected timeline.
Decisions are said to be made after discussions with supply chain sources. However, if this is the case, there is no exact reason for the delay. Young also revealed that Apple isn’t in a hurry to launch a foldable smartphone. Therefore, delay is not an issue. Perhaps the company wants to launch a foldable phone that is feasible without software or hardware issues.
And Apple doesn’t want to limit itself to folding phones. According to a DSCC report, the company is also exploring the idea of a foldable MacBook. 20 inch display size..
But don’t get too excited yet. Folding iPhones are late, so don’t expect them. Folding MacBook coming soon, not before 2026 or 2027.. That said, it’s interesting to see Apple’s products competing with things like the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold.
One thing to keep in mind is that these details are not official. Therefore, these should not be treated as the last word. As we get better ideas, we’ll elaborate on this aspect. Therefore, please look forward to it. So are you excited about the foldable iPhone? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below!
