Apple can now pay using UPI, Rupay, and online banking on the App Store and iTunes

Apple has expanded the list of payment methods accepted by the Indian App Store and iTunes.As originally reported by MacRumorsIn addition to international debit or credit cards, you can now use UPI, Rupay cards, and online banking on the App Store on your iPhone or Mac device.

Apple has announced the addition of new payment methods through email and App Store notifications. “A new way to pay for your favorite content. You can now pay on the App Store using UPI, RuPay cards, and online banking.” Read the notification. If you are considering switching to one of these new payment methods, please follow the steps below.

Pay using UPI on the iPhone App Store

1. To get started, open your iPhone settings and tap your Apple ID. You will see an option titled “”.Payment and delivery“.

2. You will see your existing payment methods here. here,”Add payment methodUse to set up a new payment method, such as a UPI or Rupay card.

3. From the Create Payment Method page, select your preferred payment method and enter the relevant details. Available options are Visa, MasterCard, American Express credit / debit cards, RuPay cards, UPI and online banking.
