After announcing the imminent soft launch of the long-awaited Apex Legends Mobile earlier this month, Respawn shared details about the rollout of the Battle Royale mobile game. The regional launch phase will allow players in the specified 10 regions to play the game on iOS and Android devices with limited in-game functionality and content. Please see here for the detail!
Apex Legends Mobile “Limited Regional Launch” Announced
Respawn recently shared an official blog post and a helpful FAQ to detail the launch of the next Apex Legends Mobile title. The company has been testing this for quite some time and introduced the first closed beta released in India and the Philippines earlier last year.
Now the company releases games on iOS and Android 10 countries including Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Philippines. The title “Limited area release” is Start next week and continue until this spring.. One thing to note is that this phase of the game is not available in India.
However, during the testing phase, players in soft-launched countries will be able to download and play the game on supported mobile devices with limited functionality. The company also IOS devices with less than 2GB of RAM and Android devices with less than 3GB of RAM do not support Apex Legends Mobile’s limited regional launch...
It has also been revealed that OEM smartphones such as Vivo, Oppo and Xiaomi are compatible with games. You can see the minimum requirements for running the game on Android and iOS here.
Apex Legends Mobile will be available from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store at launch. Respawn warns: Players should not sideload from third party stores.. In addition, Apex Legends Mobile is specifically designed for mobile devices and cross-platform support will no longer be available.
