Google has released a second developer preview of Android 13. This is also the final preview before the beta release begins. Android 13 DP2 introduces many new features such as notification permissions and privacy-centric features, as well as many new system features. Let’s take a look at all the new features.
Android 13 DP2: New features
First, Android 13 Developer Preview 2 is enabled Notification authority.I need to ask the user if the app will receive Notifications from the app.. This update also includes “downgradeable” permissions. This prevents the app from gaining certain permissions in order to protect the privacy of the user.

With many UI changes, Android 13 will also improve the wrapping of Japanese text and the display of non-Latin characters. This is improved by using line break heights so that the text is not cropped and the characters are placed properly. In addition, text conversion in languages such as Japanese and Chinese will be faster and better.
I also have an Android 13 Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) support.. This is the next generation Bluetooth version that delivers hi-fi audio at the expense of battery life. The MIDA 2.0 standard is also supported.
Additional changes include a newly redesigned media player and output picker, new color options for Material You Design introduced in Android 12, language settings per app, and Android taskbar app drawer icon.. Silent mode has also been renamed to preferred mode, with many more changes.
Android 13 will be in beta from April. Details will be announced at the Google I / O 2022 Developer Conference scheduled for May 11-12. Therefore, keep an eye on all the information you need for the next iteration of Android. Please note that the Android 13 developer preview is for Pixel 4 series and above.
